Strands # Who Cares? (Part Two)
Strands is a programme of digital radio art commissions available to UK-based sound and radio artists under the age of 28 - supported by Jerwood Charitable Foundation.
Now: part two of, "Who Cares? A Radio Tale", a special broadcast project live from Gasworks, curated by MA students at the Royal College of Art, commissioned as part of Resonance's ‘Strands’ supported by Jerwood Charitable Foundation.

0h 30m: reading group. Introduced by curator Ibrahim Cisse, the Women of Colour Index Reading Group led by artists Michelle Williams Gamaker, Samia Malik and Rehana Zaman, live broadcasted from Gasworks covers the themes around affective labour and the world of patriarchy.
1h 25m: sound piece. Introduced by curator Alba Folgado, artists Patricia Domínguez with Terezie Štindlová and Radim Lisa present their new multilingual sound sketch named ‘idreamt@ceramics’ in which a Chilean ‘bird man’ works to resist the advances of industry.
2h 00m: live performance. Introduced by curator Benedetta d’Ettorre, artists Rosalie Schweiker with Sophie Chapman and Kerri Jefferis host the ‘Bonus Hour’ show to investigate who gets bonuses and why.
