Monogram #4

Monogram with Ed Baxter is a bulletin board of new and archival audio, offered in a digressive and leisurely exploration of radio space. Episode 4: recordings by Allen Ravenstine of Pere Ubu, from his new CD, The Pharaoh's Bee; and Sebastian Thewes, from KHM Colgone, Klangabor's Landscapes of Fear double CD release. Plus eighty minutes of audio from the Deutzer Brucke, Koln CD - this is the long cavernous space which once in a year becomes the place and frame for a sound art exhibition and concerts of experimental music, Bruckenmusik. And a short lecture by Ed Baxter himself commissioned by the artist Benedict Drew which draws parallels between radio and waterways.
