female:pressure #183 - Freya Algiz

Twice-monthly broadcast showcasing electronic music produced by members of the female:pressure international network of female, transgender and non-binary artists practising in the fields of electronic music and digital arts.

For Freya Algiz music fuels the fire that keeps her breathing. Coming from a small conservative country, which inhibits freedom of authenticity in its truest form, techno is not just a place to escape, but a place to reconstruct the world based on vibrations she feels in her wildest utopian dreams. It’s a world where books don’t get judged by their cover and where compassion and kindness of the heart override the mental noise of fear, greed and despair. Freya recognizes that the only limitation to ourselves is ourselves and that stepping out of the conformist expectations is the empowerment and liberation that EVERYONE deserves.
